October 27th Let's taste Armenian Wines!
Armenian wines, possibly the oldest we know!
Hi there Rotterdam Winelover,
Our theme for the next tasting is: Armenian wines. Possibly the oldest wine country in the world and yet we hardly know of it. Luckily we have found some experts that are willing to tell us all we need to know!
Reserve October 27 in your diary because that's when we will be tasting Armenian wines.
Do you know any of these wineries?
ArmAs, Armenia, Gevorkian, Gregorian, Keerk, Tor Tori, Van Ardi and the Vivat Armenia...
These come from the cradle of the ancient wine world. Traces have been found showing that wine was already being produced around 900 BC in Armenia.
If the wine tastes good now, why wait? Drink it today and preferably with good company. Carpe Diem
In order to share and discuss these wines with each other, we are going to have a fun tasting.
We have set a new date: Thursday, October 27.

We really enjoyed this location, so we are going back!
You know we are suckers for cool locations. Remember the old Postkantoor (now half-demolished), the Voedseltuin, the gallery in Spangen?
For this tasting, we chose this historic harbor building of the old RET remise, now called Het RET Gebouw in the South of Rotterdam.
By bike from the center
15' bike ride from Rotterdam Centraal via the Maastunnel.
With Public Transport
Take bus number 72 from Metro Station Zuidplein and get out at Sluisjesdijk. You will be almost in front of our location.
